I will definitely look to Prana for my next pair of climbing shorts.DURABILITY: I purchased these shorts specifically for outdoor rock-climbing. I was a little leery of how thin they were, but Prana is known for manufacturing tough clothing intended for climbing, and the labels reassured me that the synthetic weave was strong enough to withstand tough abrasion, so I decided to let them perform before judging them... ...and WOW have they performed. So far I've worn them on three separate trips to the mountains. I've spent at least a dozen hours climbing, scraping, and wedging with them on granite and sandstone rock, I've worn them hiking for hours, I've sat with them on stone, gravel, and concrete, and I've worn a full climbing rack over them (with cams, carabiners, tools, chalk, etc) for hours.
